About Us

The Computer Society of India is the largest association of IT professionals in India. Started in the year 1965 with less than 50 like minded professionals as a computer user group, it has grown to a size of 32,000 members and 63 chapters across the country; in a span of 3 decades.The purposes of the society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science, computer engineering and technology, systems science and engineering, infoprocessing.

The Computer Society of India - VESIT Student Chapter, which is the pioneering student center in Mumbai, is committed to the mission of creating technical awareness among students and providing an opportunity to learn and keep abreast of the latest technologies.

It tries to disseminate information by organizing seminars, workshops, lectures and paper presentation contests.

CSI VESIT stands for ingenuity, innovation and versatility. CSI VESIT is perpetually aimed at giving its members that added dimension to technology. CSI VESIT has been awarded the most active student centre for the past four years. As a society, we have constantly been driven to accelerate student expertise in the wide arena of technology.

Our symposium signifies a finale attended by all our members. The symposium highlights CSI's aim of broadening the knowledge factor by providing an amalgamation of seminars and visual presentations. The symposium remains to be the highlight of the academic year.
